In the Maximizing the Training Impact Workshop we talked about the Tactile learners (the fiddlers- the stubby label pickers who just can’t help themselves) well this workshop will get you making resources that this group will love. They will not be able to help themselves but be involved.

Tactile Resources:

This workshop is about making practical re-useable resources that you can use over and over with any group to test their existing knowledge, set up an atmosphere of anticipation, create a thirst for knowledge and use as a retention tool.

Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic learners will also love it because your technical training will be seen as filling a real gap in their knowledge.

CASE STUDY:

Work Place Health and Safety.

“How the heck can you make a talk of Eye Protection and Safety interesting and relevant to guys who have had the same talk for two years running and really think the whole thing is a waste of time”

Simple:

Change the tactic. Get them to realize that they don’t know everything and have them wanting to learn more.

Introduce some personal competition so they want to beat their personal best. They actually want to test their knowledge on Eye Protection and Safety.

This will be a hands on day making practical resources that you can use with any group, with any topic. Be prepared for fun and an inventive spark.
