WHO ?

We are interested in working with teachers who want to explore their understanding of the latest in Whole-Brain Techniques that can be implemented in the classroom.   These include areas from Accelerated Learning, NLP, The Seven Intelligences, Left/Right Brain Understanding, Lateral Thinking, Visual Imagery etc.   Material will be applicable across all subject areas.

In schools and in corporate areas, there appear to be con.stant cries ... "We have to get through so much and there isn't the time".   Good teaching practice says that we 'shouldn't' be 'content driven' but the reality is that we often are.   Consequently, we don't always use good pedagogical approaches that cater for all learning styles.

Many teachers and trainers labour under a cloud of guilt knowing that they aren't teaching or preparing as well as they would really like.   They are attempting to balance curriculum, behaviour and assessment demands amongst others, let alone cater for the individual learner's unique needs

 

WHY?

The partners in Mindworks have over sixty years of combined classroom experience including Primary, Secondary and Tertiary.   We now train mainly in the Corporate areas and are frustrated to know that many of the Training Techniques used in the Corporate area are still not being fully utilized in the classroom, with students and teachers missing out.

We will not overload you with jargon and more "Shoulds".   You will leave knowing some simple ways to fire up your students with what we feel are the most exciting of the Whole Brain Learning ideas.   They are practical and will fit easily into your daily routine.   They are fun to use and they work.   The skills are applicable across all subject areas.

WHEN ?

We run both school based staff seminars and public courses for teachers and trainers who would like to spend time reviewing their teaching techniques.   Teachers will learn skills to enable them to fully utilize practical ideas to enhance their teaching and their students learning.
